Annual report 2024

In the current annual report, AMAS looks back on an eventful 2024 - characterised by regulatory progress, political discussion and a strong commitment to sustainable financial markets. Particularly noteworthy is the introduction of the L-QIF, the new Swiss fund category, which AMAS strongly advocated for. In the area of sustainable finance, self-regulation was further developed and minimum standards against greenwashing were defined, which have been in force since 1 September. This principle-based regulation demonstrates the Swiss financial centre's commitment to responsible action.AMAS sent a further signal with the Engagement Letter published in November, which calls on Swiss companies to align themselves more closely with internationally recognised standards in governance and sustainability.

Annual report 2023

2023 - a year that demanded full commitment and a high level of dedication from our office and a year in which our members also made an enormous contribution to the association's work and thus further developed the framework conditions for our industry: Whether in the area of sustainable finance with the Swiss Stewardship Code or the environmental indicators for real estate funds, or in regulation with the launch of the L-QIF, which increases the competitiveness of Switzerland as a fund location. You can read about all these activities in more detail in this annual report.

Annual report 2022

It was a demanding year with market distortions, which also posed a further challenge for the Swiss pension system. Bringing about structural improvements in occupational pension provision for the benefit of insured persons, especially in the investment area, is one of the strategic priorities of AMAS, which we will continue to pursue consistently in the current year after 2022.
Another AMAS priority is the area of sustainable finance, where we experienced a high level of dynamism in 2022 and, with the publication of the self-regulation on transparency and disclosure for collective assets with a sustainability focus, created the conditions for high quality standards in sustainable finance and the prevention of greenwashing.
