The Recommendations have been developed by a dedicated AMAS working group and are based on the structure of the existing AMAS "Specialist Recommendation on Risk Management".The application of the now published Recommendations is voluntary. The structure gives the institutions sufficient flexibility to take appropriate account of the different business models.
